Marmaor aus Carara

Carrara Marmor

Between the mountains behind Carrara you will find the world’s most famous marble. Spread-out white spots appear between the mountain tops, which are mistaken for snow in the winter time.
Marble and its tradition:
Since the automobile industry began manufacturing heavy goods vehicles, marble has been transported down to the port of Marina di Carrara with HGVs on the now asphalt roads.

In Roman times and up to approx. 30 years ago, people brought blocks of marble down to the valley on wooden sledges using a special method, the ‘Lizzatura’. Marmorskulptur

3D Culture scans or models your desired object in 3D, transforms it into a 3D model and then turns it into, for example, a large-scale figure in lightweight construction (polystyrene, styrodur, PU foam, glass fibre plastic etc.) or in solid construction (e.g. Carrara marble and many other high-quality materials). We produce eye-catchers in all sizes and formats for trade fairs, events, temporary promotions and decorations, as a construction kit for mobile activities, as single figures or groups of figures for stationary activities or as valuable representational objects in solid Carrara marble.

Huge XXL Marble Sculptures

3D Culture creates true monuments in larger-then-life sizes. For our XXL marble sculptures, we use only genuine Carrara marble from Michelangelo’s favourite quarry, which exceeds the highest quality expectations. Our huge sculptures are pre-milled using a special 3D milling machine and then completed by traditional stone sculptors according to century-old tradition.
More information on huge marble sculptures.

We realise any form and (almost) any size. Why don’t you also benefit from the century-old tradition of our marble sculptors?

Exclusive and unique – your personal image in 3D – the 3rd dimension, e.g. in marble, granite, plaster, metal

Sculpture is one of the oldest art forms in art history. The difference between sculpture and painting is the three-dimensionality of the works of art. In sculpture, forms and structures can be spatially experienced through the use of different materials and through different processing techniques by sculptors.
The sculptures or plastics created can provide realistic representations, creatively change reality or can be completely abstract. The history of sculpture goes back to the Stone Age, when humans first began giving stone a created form. The 600,000-year-old hand axes can be seen as representing the first sculptures created by human hand. Although they were originally intended as a tool, this was the hour of birth of sculpture.

In ancient Greece, they created realistic statues, busts and reliefs out of marble and clay. Here, classical sculpture experienced its heyday. The Greek art of sculpture was later taken over by the Romans. In the Far East, in contrast, they worked more with materials such as jade, ivory and bronze.

3D Culture – The (R)E- volution in Art!

3D Culture – is a combination of tradition and innovation. Of culture and high-tech. 3D Culture combines the century-old tradition of the performing arts with the innovative possibilities of the contemporary digital age.
More and more people are looking for ways to realise their individual wishes – with high financial expenditure, with creativity or willingness for innovation.
The fascinating experience of seeing people in the 3rd dimension – 3D – as a sculpture, bust or relief, with innumerable possibilities that arise from the personal, professional or leisure areas of life.
Until now, the realisation of this dream, if at all, was only possible through laborious and extremely expensive sculpture. To “carve out” a person by a sculptor can take up to a year, is hardly affordable and still does not possess the accuracy to detail of our technique.
In addition, hardly anyone is able to do this. The most modern computer technology, creative and artistic handicraft can realise the sculpture of your wishes, and this within only a short space of time.
Be it grandchild, mother, entrepreneur, athlete, artist or favourite cat. Classic, traditional materials, such as marble, granite, bronze, plaster, wood and aluminium are the “foundations” for your work of art.
For example, to recognise someone in their job, e.g. with a manager bust, a company founder sculpture, a board member bust. But also as an exclusive promotional gift or a company gift, as an award for a deserving employee or on the occasion of an anniversary.
Our 3D sculptures say more than 1000 pictures.
Exclusive and surprising, whomever you would like to do something nice for.
The word relief comes from the Latin relevare, “to lift up”.
And the 3D Culture reliefs that we offer in a variety of forms really do have a lifting effect: high-relief, semi-relief, bas-relief, counter-relief, in plate form, in stele form, for a wall fixing, as a table/shelf support.
Be surprised by the optic and light and shadow effects of the projections and indentations. Every sculpture or bust created by 3D Culture, every relief is a unicum of high artistic standards and handicraft. We place great value on the artistic creation of, for example, your “image”, so that is fulfils the high quality standards you may expect from us in terms of form and haptic (Greek: haptikos = tangible).
The new form of art … designed by 3D Culture.
3D Culture – Anything but ordinary.
